Sistakaranam Youvatha is a group of younger members of our community who are focusing on welfare of next-gen sistakaranams. Issues taken up by the group include Employment Opportunities, and facilities for out-station students such as accommodation & library.
This very active group has registered their association under the AP Societies Registration Act, 2001 under the name "Sista Karanam Yuvata Welfare Society".
Principles of Sista Karanam Yuvata
- That our caste census is 3 to 4 lakhs, to be documented. (Data Entry)
- Sistakaranam Youth community must flourish in the Employment, Political and Self-employment sectors.
- Should be in the forefront of helping those in need.
- To provide full support to the elders who are working for OBC and to discharge responsibilities delegated.
- To work to do some thing for the community, and not ask what the community has given us.
- Conduct ourselves in a responsible and disciplined manner, creating a respected community in the larger society.
- Pass on our traditions to the future generations.
Community Census Initiative
A notable initiative taken up by the group is the Population Assessment of our community. They have set up a Google Form, and are reaching out to all to fill up their respective family member details.
