We had / have an All India Sista Karanam Association, located in Berhampur Odisha and Visakhapatnam, AP. This is supposed to be the apex organisation for our Sistakaranam Community. Is it functional now? Was it registered in either of the States or at New Delhi (Central) level? Who are the Office-bearers? Are elections and meetings held? Do they have a Website? Does it affiliate State / District level outfits? Do we have any standard Bye-laws, Bank Accounts and Communication mechanism? It's time we streamline the formation and working of Associations at different levels, if not it will lead to mushrooming and misuse of our community. United, we stand, rest........better I will not spell out here. We got to come out of our identity crisis, dearth of strong leadership, disunity, and of course financial constraints. Let's introspect well and bring all the Community members in India and abroad under one umbrella, one federal association, one location, one website, one Facebook page and one slogan to achieve the desired results.
